# Vision

We more digitally connected than ever, yet more disconnected from where we live.\

AI and automation are reshaping work and human purpose faster than civic systems can adapt.\
\
Our towns and cities require a new civic operating system equipped for the 21st century to catalyze in-person communities, connect us with opportunity, and build the cities that we want to live in.\
\
build\_cities is the *Civic Operating System* (CivicOS) that converts human potential into civic progress by coordinating individual competencies and pursuits into flourishing communities and economies.
